    I hade to move a peice of rock and found this bubble type of covering ....feels soft and rubbery ....clearish coraline in color ....its been 2 weeks ....hasnt increased or decreased in size ....ideas?

    it is located where the 2 peices of rock connected ....its growing right overtop of a large coraline patch ....the pic is very poor quality. very interesting

    +1 sponge should be safe and valuable member of your CUC, also a sign of good water quality.

    I have a ton of the tiny scypha sponges. Its a clear rubbery film-like growth and it is the color of the coraline ....but opaque ....another filter is always good.
