So... thinking about finally moving on past starter fish. Here's what i've got in mind so far.

    False Percula clown (2)
    Flame Angel
Bi-color Angel (I've seen two angels kept together but also hear that's a bad idea, will these two get along or basically dependent on the fish?)
    Spotted Sweetlips
    Powder Brown Tang
Blue hippo tang (i know i'll have to upgrade or trade in eventually, i'm hoping to get a small guy like 1")

These will be going into a 75g with LR and i'd love to eventually move past my mushroom corals but for now that's gonna be it...

My biggest question is in what order should i add things? Currently i have 3 damsels but am not attached to them and would be more than happy to take them out if needed.

A good rule that I have fallowed is to add the same type of fish at the same time. For example all the angels that you want at once, then clowns, and then tangs. You can do this in any order. It allows the fish to find their territory and in the end you'll have less problems. Just make sure you don’t over crowd you tank and have a Bio load that you system cannot support. That will just lead to a disaster.

ok, so; add a pair of the same family. Wait a few weeks, checking levels and all to make sure i'm still good on my bio load and then add the next set. Repeat until done.

Now, how bout the angel's? Do they typically get along if added together or no? Reason i picked the bicolor was due to i've seen it done before. But honestly if you think i can add other's i'd kinda like to consider maybe a different angel.

I would get rid of the damsels right away considering they have already established their spot in the tank. Most damsels can be pretty aggressive to new tank mates.

Take it slow....get a pair of whatever and add more a few weeks down the road. Make sure the pair of fish you add are not sick before adding more. Watch your nitrates closely during the first 2 weeks of adding the new fish.

Yeah I have seen Angel's together too. I also have heard of stories of how they fought to the death. I would say add them together and monitor there activity for a couple days and make check for any battle wounds. If there is any problems I would take one back. A little playful chasing is all right. It’s when they do this often and nip at one another’s fins is when you’re going to have a problem.

sweet lips are gynormous! I saw one that had to be returned to the LFS because it outgrews the guys 250g tank This was big!

I would stay away from flame angel..bicolor would be ok. Flames are not the hardiest to keep, often dont eat and succumb to illnesses. Clowns would be the best thing to put in there right now.

Remeber with angels....that even "reef safe" angels can turn on corals. I have a bellus angel and I think it is starting on my clams. So I would sway away from angels all togehter or else you might be fishing it out. If you want angels then you would want to keep it primarily a fish only tank. Plus you would have to stick with dwarf angels and feed it sponges and such. I would not put 2 together in that size tank IMO even if it was fish only....too risky and a fight would probably pursue

In r/t tangs...I would do a yellow tang or even a kole tang. Either one would do really well as they are great algea eaters.

    Just remember to go slow
