Just blew up my tank, re did all the rock work, took out majority of sand to replace with new sand as I've had some issues, down to my clown, Niger trigger, sailfin tang, and my six line(he coulda passed on and that would have been ok), tank is 120g-48x24x24. Lookin for a showcase fish to add to this mixed reef and some other friends to add, any suggestions

The Sailfin Tang and Niger Trigger are going to need bigger tanks eventually ;)

As far as new stock, it may be hard to add anything because of the Triggerfish :-/

I know they will need to move on in the future, the triggerfish is actually pretty passive for the most part, he is the probably most docile between all fish in tank currently

Okay then. Have you thought of some sort of Goby? Or do you want schooling fish?

You have a fairly aggressive tank right now, so you don't want to add anything peaceful, as they will likely hide all day. Firefish are on the peaceful side, so you are correct in that you may never see it. I have a Helfrichi FF in my peaceful 28 nano, and it is always right out in the open. If I put it in my semi-aggressive 55, I bet it would hide all day.
