Except kenya tree spreads worst than zenia..it's like a weed.Pieces just break off and then it's everywhere

If u go to lfs tell them u want a couple $5 kenya frags you will be very happy.
Like mentioned before they are tell tale signs of params.

 

Well cool I'll ask them, I was also thinking some mushrooms they have really nice colored ones but if I can get a tree for $5 I am all about that

 

Thanks for all the suggestions I wanted a Kenya but the LFS didn't have one but I got a torch instead!

 

The problem I have with a lot of the suggestions that have been said is are you going to really want them a year later when you have more prized pieces and these are invading their space and you can't get them out of your tank. I had put some mushrooms(given to me by a friend and one of my first) in my tank then wanted em out because they were popping up everywhere. I still see one pop up randomly. Also I'm glad the star polyps never took off or I woulda flipped out later lol.

I'm not saying don't put these recommendations in. I'm just make sure it fits your fiture plan for the tank you wish to create.

I have thought that and I know the Kenya grows to fast for me I decided, and speeds like fire, so I am rethinking that..

 

I've had a 1 inch kenya tree frag in my tank for a week. Its doubled in size.

 

Here's a photo of Anthelia. It grows more "weedish" than Zenia.

 

gonipora are a very cool looking coral. they hardy exept the fact that your have to feed each head twice a week.
