    so should i do a water change tommorow then test the water the next day?

    but how comes this morning my nitrite spiked then this afternoon it went down to 0??

    Its normal Crystal, may last 3- 5 weeks and may mean your tank goes pretty brown but however bad it gets , its nothing to worry about IME
