I bought a 50 gallon bin to help transport my tank from an apartment to my new house. Now it is just sitting here empty. Was wondering if theres anything I could to to turn it into something useful other than a ro water holder.

does it have a lid? do you use ro/di water? use it for your waste water and water your lawn/flowers. I used to live in Kiss and know you use a lot during the summer:)
or you can save it for me and the next time I go to see my grand daughter and son I can pick it up lol

if you had the room you could use it as a refugium of sorts. ive got a tread in the bucket called 45 min. trip to a lfs and i took a pic. of a live rock refug. there was a tank above it but not as tall and you looked down on the tank instead of looking threw the side as if you would in a glass tank

you can use it as a sump, i did once, might start to bow if you try to fill it up all the way but overall worked well for me

I have three of them from when I moved my tank lol. I am saving them for waste water and stuff.

I don't really know what you would do with it. I think it would look too ugly and hard to hide to use as a refugium.

I live in Kissimmee too btw.
