    A QT is an interesting idea. I'd turn it into an invert tank. Get a couple powerheads and a heater and some live rock, some sand and you can keep inverts that aren't reef safe. But thats just me and I can't resist invertebrates.

    You wouldn't be able to see them though. Maybe from the top, unless you have a power head disrupting the surface to increase oxygen intake.
