what to do with mangroves

cool i do plan on puting them in the sump
as for the tall ones i think they're about 14-15 inches long i really dont have no use for them. any takers?

 

Those are the ones that will do the most for you! the more leaves the more roots the more they remove!

 

they have roots on the leafy ones. i wonder if i can use a florecent light to help growth

 

yes, go to HD and get one of those $6 clamp on light reflectors and the strongest "Daylight" compact floresent grow bulbs you can find and your all set

 

I got mine sprouted with a hd clamp light and a cfl bulb. spent about 15 bucks and made it happen. I now have a full blown refugium with a light for it but that is how I started mine out. I have about 100 mangroves that all greaw under that light before upgrade.

 

any one want free mangroves? i cant fit them all in me refugium.
