lol, i don't think i want 200 snails, but from what i can see the snails are very helpful with algae. I suppose i'll do a lil bit of reaserch to see which one of these will suit my aqaurium

haha, yes reefcleaners will send you extra snails but they do it for several reasons, first is because a few snails will inevitably die during shipping and acclimation, second is just because they are nice. I got about 300 extra snails sent to me and I was very happy. Im sure you could write in the comments of your order not to ship alot of extra snails.

oh yea question about the snails, do you need to provide them with extra shells or do their shells grow with them??

True. They are awesome though. BTW i dont like turbos. They are very clumsy and if you research them you will see that the come from more temperate waters and eventually may die in the reef tank.

snails grow their own shell. It is attached and they keep the same shell for life. It's hermit crabs who need larger shells as they grow

+1 to no longer a turbo fan. Mine have knocked even superglued corals down. I still have them, I'm not a fan of taking things back...... but then again I am just fattening them up for when mr. mantis moves in.

well i don't have a reef tank. I'm hesitant about live rock, i don't think i'm expreinced enough to truely help them thrive

I too would stay away from turbo snails with a 30 gallon tank. I never had any luck with them. They would live for a year, knocking over all my coral frags in the process, and eventually die. Florida Ceriths and Nassarius snails are my all time favorite.

Coral is completely different from live rock. In my opinion, live rock is the single most important part of filtration for any saltwater tank, ESPECIALLY when you are heavily stocked like you are. Live rock is simply rock, that has bacteria on it. Live rock is important for a healthy biological filter. The bacteria break down toxic ammonia produced by your fish and convert that ultimately into nitrates, which are much less toxic and are them removed by a water change (or nitrate removal through macro algae or nitrate reactors but lets not get into that right now.)

If you can put water in an aquarium, that's all you need to know how to do to keep live rock alive. lol

(no sometimes when you buy live rock you get lucky and get a small coral growing on it, but in most cases you do not. Corals are invertebrates that require specialized care and a little more experiance in saltwater keeping than FOWLR (fish only with live rock) tanks.
