I have a 14 gal biocube that i'm using as a refug and i was just wondering what people normally put in there and grow. Also, what kind of lighting should i get and how long do i leave the light on. I don't want to leave it on 24/7 since it will cost lots of elec. Thanks guys!

I run my refug lights whenever my display lights are off, usually throughout the night. I use a 67k Power Compact bulb, what I have been told is that plants thrive off the yellow/white lights the best (closest with the suns color). I have a big ball of cheato morpha (spelling?) and I have no clue what else to put in there, so I'm with you as well.

I run my refugium on a reverse photo period as well, I have some Caulepra, some live rock and a deep sand bed. The light itself is an arcpod from arcadia.

Lights in tank on = fuge light off, light on tank off = fuge light on. Thiat is how mine works and I have to grow light sticks from walmart 8.99 a piece sitting over mine.
