So basically i have my 20 Tall with 20 pounds of LR sitting around, the only thing i have in there is my flower pot, can't have any other coral in there because of my light and i dont want to buy a new light so im not going to go reef.

So what would you put in a 20, i really dont want any jumpers because this is a partial open top tank.

So any suggestions on what fish to put in would be great :)

frog fish. they are reef safe (with corals at least) and will make the water dirty like how the goniopora like it (im assuming by flowerpot thats what you mean?) they also dont need to be fed more than once weekly, and are really cool when they get big. a 20 gal is perfect for any type of frogfish. :D have fun.

So you want it to be FOWLR. Do you want an aggressive tank? Here are some possibilities for fish for a 20g..

    Peaceful
-basically any type of clown goby
    -some Blennies
    -Ocellaris Clowns
    -Dartfish
    -Frogfish
    -Firefish

    Aggressive/Semi-aggressive
    -Red/Orange Angler; Wartskin Angler

Sorry, if this isn't of much help...I didn't see that many choices for a 20g on Live Aquaria

not really to sure what i want, probably FOWLR since i have the peaceful fish in the reef, i guess im just looking for something different, lol id love ot have a small lionfish but dont think there is any that would would fit.

the anglers/frog fish do seem like they would fit the bill as far as being different goes.

And i agree, they really dont have much that would fit in a 20, so i was kind of stumped on what i would put in there

I think frogsih, anglers ad lion fish all look cool. They're so different from other fish. I wouldn't recommend lion fish. They get kind of big for a 20g and can release toxins from their spies if they feel threatened. Otherwise lionfish would work. Anglers should would be out of the ordinary. That are also peaceful and would fit in a 20g :) I like the frogfish which was poster previously too.

i havent done any research on any of these fish yet, but are they hard? ive got some CRAZY cyano growing in the 20 so i assume nitrates and phospates must be up, do you think any of these fish will be able to tolerate the high nitrates
