Got a free tank coming my way( 20 gal long ).. it was used for a snake/lizard thing some kind of reptile
How or what should I clean it with?
Can it even be used for marine life? I would like to (if I can) turn it into a sump/fuge..
Is it worth taking.I was told it would hold water..

    TIA...:cheesy:

lizard tanks are made thinner then fish tanks since they dont have the weight of the water.
a real reptile tank cant be filled with water without leaking probably, it may work partway filled as sump but its a risk.

do you know if it was bought as a aquarium or terraium?

you can used bleach and water, rinse out after, then let it dry for a day. bleach evaporates. when it doesnt smell bleach is gone

or you can use white vinegar

If you bleach it all the bacteria will be gone. Just clean it good.
