    Google Coralife SUPER SKIMMER also shouldnt need a air pump on it

    +1 on the coralife SS. No idea why they have the AL on it. AFAIK the place it is attached to the skimmer is where it vents air so that the outlet can be submerged without creating back pressure.

    k. just downloaded the manual. Where would i find an appropriate in take pump. Do i need the bubble production diffuser? Thats missing along with the in-take pump.

    would just any pump work? Bump??? Anyone have any experience with this skimmer?

    It looks like the older model SS 65. I have the current model so I'm not sure what is different. The only thing I can really tell looking at it is the collection cup, and I think they went to the needle wheel impeller. The new ones have a bigger collection cup without the big neck on the bottom and have a nipple for a drain line if you want. You might be able to contact coralife about what pump they recommend. I would have to look at mine to see what it came with and what gph it is rated for. If you want I can check when I get some time.
