What type of carpet is this?

    Was curious what type of carpet anemone this is. At petco for $45. Not much color but slight purple tint.

    It looks like it may be purple/blue. I don't know the specific type. It is really pretty though with potential to be beautiful in a healthy environment IMO.

    Guessing it's under PC lighting? I agree with OFK in that it could be a showstopper under more powerful lighting, assuming its either a dark blue or a purple.

    Yeah that will work than you will not have to feed the Anemone of a couple weeks! Not. Yeah you're getting a much bigger tank but that is not big enough.
    The Engineer Goby will eventually come face to face with the Anemone. When you start posting threads about your fish mysteriously go missing you will find your answer here.

    It's a nice Anemone, I like it.

    Oh and if you take a good image of the foot I will be certain of the ID.
