What type of Mantis Shrimp is this?

    [​IMG]I just got some LR and I got a mantis for a hitch hiker. one of my coworkers wanted it and would like to know what kind of mantis shrimp this is? any help would be Great!

    I just read that Schackmel here on 3reef has a Peacock Mantis Shrimp. Maybe if you directly send her a mesage, she can help you out. (FOR SOME REASON I AM CALLING HER A SHE...I have no idea why)

    LOL...I am a she...but I only really know about peacocks

    However I think it might be a gonodactylus platysumus...not sure but the mottled appearance makes me think it is. If it is it is a smasher

    I like it. I would make a tank for it as well. A nice little 10g species tank....
