I started out with Koralias, they are great for the money. Broad chaotic flow, I just cleaned mine for the first time in 6 months and that was just for preventative maintenance, they were running just fine.
I had a #2 and a #1 on my 30 gallon and they worked great, the only thing I didn't like was the in-tank footprint, so I updated the #2 to a Vortech MP40W (cranked all the way down) and it's working awesome, I felt like I needed a little more flow anyway. ;D

I'll be moving everything to a 75 gallon in the near future and getting another Vortech for that. I like the small in-tank footprint, getting the electricity and heat out of the tank, and the much more randomized/broad flow possibilities.

i love the Koralias. i have used different brands of PHs before and they would overheat the water but with the design on the koralias there is virtually no heat produced.

i love how you can mount just about anywhere in the tank and point them any way you could think of.

by far the best PH produced to date

i have maxi-jet it works great, but i recently found and proud owner of a Zoo/Med Power-Sweeper it works great and the best of all it moves left to right, it sweeps leaving no dead zones, and creating waves, same price as the maxi-jet but with a built-in wavemaker!

Just set up the MJ 1200 with the 1600 Mod.... had to use the smaller propeller !! OMG...with the larger prop...huge motion!! way more then the Kor 4 .......it is cheaper ...like 30 bucks...but it has suction cups...and it has a slight shimmer...where the KOR 4 has none.....but lots more power the then the KOR 4

    matter of preference

I am using a Vortech MP40 and I love it really nice flow. I was previously using Korillias and I think they are very good as well.
