I purchased my tang and was told it was an Atlantic Blue Tang or an Atlantic Surgeon.

I've got a 125 so tank size wasn't an issue and the LFS employee recommended it for a really tough algae I have. Well it hasn't eaten the algae but is a really fun fish. It's a bit pushy especially during feeding time.

If anyone knows the exact species that would be cool.

The algae in the background is the stuff I'm talking about. I've got an urchin that is slowly munching it.

16 inches is going to be a bit big.

The algae grows really slowly so hopefully the urchin can get a hang on it. If not I'll order a few chitons and a couple more urchins

Acanthurus chirurgus, Commonly known as the Doctorfish Tang. Would be my guess, Because of the Vertical stripes I can vaguely see.
