    Hey all,

I just wanted to know what all of your recommendations would be to add a certain amount (if any) or at least one tang to a 72 gallon bow.

What certain tangs would do in this tank.

    Thank you

Maybe a sailfin if your tank is 48" long, if not no tangs would be advisable.

What about a yellow tang. From what I've seen here it should fit the size of my tang.

I've had a yellow tang in my 55 for more than a year now. A friend gave me his fox face about september of last year. They've become swimming buddies and are always within 6 inches of each other.

Anything from the Ctenochaetus genus, and a few from Zebrasoma will do well.

A sailfin is probably the worst choice in tangs for a tank this size. They get about a foot long, if not longer.

As far as tangs, I would maybe recommend only a couple of the ctenochaetus tangs (bristletooth) in a 72.

tomini, kole, indian yellow spotted tang. Those 3 will only get to 5-6" tops, while many other ctenochaetus will get much bigger. I would wait until the tank is at least 6 months before getting one of these though.
