    Another thing you can try is a filter sock over the tube. That might diffuse alot.

    Will this is what I have done to this point, I have extended the tube as you can see which gives the bubble more time to break the surface, but still works on the same idea, seems to be OK, for now!! ???

    Seems to be working out pretty well so far, all in all the skimmer is OK for skimming, with me curing live rock in this tank as well as cycling it its working hard.
