What Would You Do

Dyngoe where did you find the fixture $200? I hope they ship up to canada. Me and my hubby were talking about it and I personally agree. I think I will save up in January for a whole new lighting fixture and sell the pc. I just want the best for my budget. I personally don't want to waste anymore money on things I will have to replace in another few mnths. I really don't like MH lighting, the look, the heat, and the expenses that come with it. Thank you all for helping me...I am sure I will have a million more questions.

Glad to help. I've done my whole tank on a Craigslist budget. It hasn't been easy or quick, but it has been cheap. I found the light at Forester & Smith. Here's the direct link:

My friend had the PC version and liked it alot. It's not as slim as the TekLights, but at half the price who can really compain. Here's hoping you have a fun and "bright" new year.

T-5. And, yes, I use them -- I have the 24" Nova Extreme with two lunar lights and 4 bulbs. My only complaint is that they make the algae grow like crazy. I've had mine for a year, so it's probably time to change the bulbs.

 

I like my t-5s but I have had them less than a month.
