My 40breeder broke spilt top to bottom amd it was a slow leak(thank god). Its also had the plastic trim around it though. I don't know if you are going Rimless or not though.

Deep Sea Aquatics is one of the best in the industry. Go with them over Glass Cages in a heartbeat. No comparison in quality between the two.

I'll also throw in my two cents on glass vs. acrylic, having owned both in large sized tanks.

I've always been a glass guy, but due to a number of reasons I had to go acrylic on my current dual 175g set up. I can tell you without a doubt that if I don't have the same considerations on my next tank I'd go glass. The main issue, as others have mentioned, is that cleaning it is a pain in the butt.

    The reasons I went acrylic:

    - My tanks are peninsula tanks and I wanted the end on each to be circular. Doing so in glass is prohibitively expensive.

    - Secondarily, my tanks are in difficult to access locations and required a lot of manhandling to get the bulkheads in after the tanks were put in place. On a normal stand this wouldn't have been required. If I had glass tanks it would have been a royal PITA.

In short, if you're going with standard rectangular tanks that you will put in place and not screw with then go glass. If you had like a 400+ gallon tank then I might reconsider due to weight, but 300 gallon glass tanks are completely manageable (with like four guys).
