Im following this as well... I want to put a different light on my fuge. I was thinking clip on Home Depot lights as well but didn't know if it would produce enough light. I use a 96 watt PC fixture and the bulb needs to be replaced so I was thinking of something more inexpensive on the maintenance. Plus the housing is 36" and I only need light over 18" of it.

A note about noise: If scrubbers are built correctly, they are silent. Just make sure the bottom of the screen is in the water, so there is no waterfall effect.

RODI for top offs new filters around 1-2 months ago, WCs should be more often but every other week with around 20 gal. in a 90 gal. system (but i just upgraded to a 135 within the past week) filter system i have bio balls ( i know ) that float in my system and get cleaned when i do water changes but there has never been a build up in them, cleaning crew needs updated and no have not tested for them l8ly.

Just recently bought a sulfur denitrator in ebay with all the equipments and its been running for 3 days now. Just measure the denitrator output yesterday and its already 0 nitrate. I run it drip 1 every 3 seconds but will increase the rate today. This is faster than coil since you don't have to wait 2-3 months to see a result.

Just checked my tank nitrate reading today and it is down from 20ppm to 10ppm in less than a 2 weeks. First time ever for over a year and I can say that sulfur denitrator does work. I first thought that having enough live rock can lower the nitrate but it only maintain my nitrate to 20ppm. Upgrading to lifereef protein skimmer and added sump from HOB Bak Pak must have help but didn't lower my nitrate less than 20ppm. Water change twice from tap every week did not solve my cyno bacteria and hair algae issues. So I bought RO/DI system and that solve the cyano and hair algae problems. But my nitrate are still at 20ppm. So I bought this nitrate denitrator and for the first time my tank water is somewhere between 5-10 ppm.
