I have a pair of yellow watchmans that has lived in a burrow under my favia brain for a few weeks since they moved into the tank. Suddenly today the female just left the den. It was immediately attacked by my clownfish and algae blenny. Why did it leave its burrow? Will it be okay? The only thing I can think of is if it was switching burrows like I here they sometimes do.

    Thoughts?

Well, it went back inside after a terrifying trip into the reef. Still wondering why it left.

That's what I'm thinking. Or gave her that sad goby face...and begged. Poor little guy. I love my antenna goby. He was standing off with the clowns last night. His mouth wide open and his fins all out for them to see. He is lucky they are still babies.

My clowns have to be twice the size of the watchmen. If she hadn't gone back into her burrow (it was the female that had the adventure) she wouldn't have stood a chance.
