thought of getting a cadaver fish like a yellow tang or similar. Put the fish in a trap at night and let the pods attach to it. Take the fish out, pluck off the pods and repeat. Put the fish in the hospital tank during the day, then in the main tank at night until I don't catch anymore pods...

    Anybody???

I would just leave the tank fishless for the 3 months!!!
That is kind of a cruel thing to do to a fish! [smiley=surprised.gif]Don't you think? [smiley=shocked2.gif] ............................................... John

Ive got a damsel you can use - lol.......

i think he would give those buggers a run for their money!!!!

but sreiously i think you should leave the tank fishless for a few months......give the system time to restock with good little bugs...if thats any consolation.

    best wishes

You would do that endlessly. You won't get the larvae of even smaller ones that are in the substrate.

I agree with Fletch on ALL points. We as humans don't go and throw a dog into a field daily as so we can remove the ticks in hopes of cleaning out the field of ticks.

I only suggested it because I believe that I read it in one of the posts that were suggested :-/... I think it is rather cruel also, but if I can get my fish back in their home faster... Well... I already lost my orange diamond goby to suicide the night I set up the hospital tank :-[... How many more will die before July 4 2005??? ( My tanks independence day ) I hope

I would remove the visible parasites with tweezers and run the tank fishless for a very long time.
