Anyone have any idea what these little pink things are growing out of my live rock? They're only about an 1/8" tall but there's quite a few of them in my tank. Also I noticed a few of these bright blue spots the other day. Any ideas? It wouldn't be coralline would it? 20140304_173257.jpg

Appears to be a type of sponge. Not one of your more colorful, decorative types, but harmless, nonetheless. The hitch hiker types usually don't get very big, or last long in our tanks.

Yes, the spots do look like coralline.

Hmmm, interesting. Sorry I don't know. I just hover on them and they expand to 2/3rds screen size; clicking that image makes them even larger.

Ya that's definitely what they look like. How about that blue coloring? Does anyone have that color in there tank? I'm kind of hoping it spreads it's a neat color
