Whats on my corals?!

    So theres this weird harry white stuff around a bunch of my corals. Here is the best pics i could get of it.

    Also on the live rock and some of the corals are these white bulb like things. Not sure if you can see them good enough in pic. Any ideas???

    Not sure what's on your frag, but I think the white things are Pineapple Sponges.

    It could be some sort of sponge. I can't quite tell from the picture.

    Well they are growing everywhere! lolol in my zoos and on stuff. Are sponges bad? I thought they were hard to keep? lol

    Not all sponges are hard to keep but so far IME all are harmless. Especially pineapple sponges, they seem to grow very well in my sump and overflows. I found from experience that they slowly go away into my sump. I'm not sure if yours are pineapple though.

    Yours remind me more of the sponges that grew in a skeleton of a coral that had died. Not to say yours is sick or anything.
