They look like bite marks to me.What other fish do you have and how big is the tank??It could be that it doesn't go near the algae because the Clown Tang will not let it.Clown Tangs are extrremely aggresive especially in tanks less then 200 gallons.:-/

no its not bite marks all thats in there is a unicorn tang clown tang and 2 chromis. Ive had it alot longer then the clown tang he just wont eat it. hes had spots sence i got him. Him and the clown tang get along very well thay even sleep togather in the same little cave and spend all day swiming together so i dont think it has anything to do with my clown. These spot seem to come and go but are never fully gone now it seems its just geting worse and worse. I have not tryed any meds on him or anything.

Well lets see if I can explain that.LOL
Clown Tang-Minimum tank size 250 gallons (max. length 1'3")
    Unicorn Tang-Minimum tank size 360 gallons(max length 2')
Keeping these fish in a tiny tank will lead to stress and disease so no matter what the particular ailment is it is probably caused by stress.Unfortunately if you are really looking for a cure that cure would be to find them a new home.Heres a couple of good links for you.

    Agree with Vinny.
Some people seem to think because they have such small fish they don't need to worry as much about the tank space. there is some truth to that but the math is not consistant. example:Clown Tang-Minimum tank size 250 gallons (max. length 1'3") at 4" it still requires a min tank size of 125 gallons. 2" - 90 gallons

Tank stress leads to not feeding and that leads to weakened immune system to disease, to death. 99% of the time over crowding causes death one way or another.

If you can't feed the fish you can't save it. There are no miracle drugs to make a fish healthy if its not eating due to tank stress.

Have you atleast got the garlic yet?

feeding is not an issue these guys are pigs i feed them 3-6 times a day there nice and fat. They are about to go into my 125 when i set that up in the next few weeks and when thay get a little bigger thay will go to my buddys 1000g tank so thay will have a good life. SO back to the real problem at hand i had a Marine biologist take a look at my fish and he said right of the bat your fish has worms and explained the hole thing so now my fish is in his on tank being treated;D Oh and befor i get bashed for over feeding my tank please hold your comments i do take really good care of my stuff and i dont slack on maintenance ever.8)
