What's on my rock??

    We added some green mushrooms to our tank 2 days ago. There is something on the rock that they were attached to - it kinda looks like a thick fuzzy purplish spiderweb. Any idea what it is?

    Unfortunately, I can't get a clear picture of it, or I'd post one.

    Also, there is a tiny hitchhiker - can't tell what it is because it is in a hole & won't come out. It's got 2 greenish color tentacles. Is this something I need to worry about?
