It's hard to tell at their present state. They all look the same when they're closed up :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If someone can figure that out they ought to play the lottery because it would only be a lucky guess based on the current condition of the zoanthids vs. Palys. They need to grow, open and color up.

They still need some time to color up, but they are Palys. They might be simply brown button polyps, just google images to compare.

You can start looking for an idea of id by going to vendors sites that sell Palys.

They can be invasive, a good clue is that they have survived transport, cycling and are not make a come back.

I noticed that some of them now has like a "dot" in the middle.
And we now have our first algaeinvasion :p
    The measurement for today is:
    Nitrit 0-0.1
    Nitrate 50
    Phosphate 0
    PH 8.4
    Salt 1024-1025

Could we put some turbosnails into our tank yet? Or will they die?

It's best to wait out the initial algae and diatom blooms unless you have completed the cycle. I have never had much success with snail making any type of dent in these blooms, they do not eat diatoms.

They look like standard bytton polyps, a type of palythoa.
