    ok a friend of mine gave me a bunch of different frags out of his tank and gave me a rock that he said had something on it but wasnt sure the picture is a little blurry but maybe you can identify it for me.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That looks like the skeleton of a Pipe Organ Coral (Tubipora musica), there are a couple different variations. A very nice coral when open and growing. Image hard to be sure.
