just as the title says what do you think is the best credit card?

Find one with a fixed interest rate, as low as possible depend on credit score of course. Get one that has cash back rewards. I just use one through my local bank

If you don't have the money to buy the item with in the first place ya don't need it, I use a credit card to build credit so I can get approved for a house but I only use it when I can pay it off befor getting any interest as it should be!

 

And how do you pay cash for your online items? How would you reserve a hotel room, or a car rental, or book a flight online.

The OP was asking the best credit card ... not your opinion on credit cards.

I use American Express Airmiles and love it ... but if you have a tendency to miss payments this won't be the card for you. They can jack up interest if you miss a payment.

 

I gave an opinion and don't need you to assault me over it. Debit cards work online and work just fine with reservations. I just use my bank issues credit card that has a low fixed interest because I run my direct deposit through the bank.

 

I do believe credit cards are a profitable venture if used properly.they get you when you can't pay in full.and with alot of americans and probably worldwide it can be very easy to loose track of spending over the coarse of a month.that being said I have never not paid in full every month so the intrest rates can be jacked .im mostly concerned with cash back or miles ect.im also knowing I have a huge bill comming in soon and was planning to put it on a card so some of those introductory cash back offers may be tempting aswell.
