whats the best custom tank maker for a 300?

would a 500 be to big i dont want the wife to come home to a mini ocean but i want to have enough room for several rays and sharks

 

come on i need some help whats the smallest tank for 4 sharks and 2 rays? with 3 or 4 fish

 

You are going to need a "mini ocean" depending on size of fish.

Sounds like you are planning live food for your sharks.

 

ya im going o feed them half live squid and shrimp every once and a while

 

Hard to say as nobody here has kept these animals. For 4 sharks, however, I would assume that you're going to need several thousand gallons. Anything less won't work.

 

It depends on the sharks, some sharks do not get very big, like 3 footers. But I wouldnt put more then 2 in a 500g tank unless that tank was like 144x36x24, but you run the risk of them jumping out. Long and wide gives them pretty of room to swim and coexist. Which a tak that size is like a mini ocean, haha.

 

would a 950 work? the 950 would be 9 feet by 6feet x 2.5 feet
i want to keep teh 3 feet sharks there not going to get bigger than 4 feet

I have an 720 acrylic That housed 2 Smooth hound sharks, a Bamboo shark, and some other agressive stuff. As long as you stay with Small Sharks you will be fine around 500 Gals. I wouldnt go anything smaller. And Id stay with Bamboo/ Smoothhound, for the sharks. There pretty easy to care/feed.My 720 is sitting empty, It needs polished, But I'm willing to let it go for cheap If anyone is interested. Its 8'x4'x3'. It would just have to be picked up.

 

Thats a monster tank. How do you clean it do you dive in it ;D
