Whats the best HOB Skimmer for a 75gal tank.

i have a berlin X-2 turbo and i think it does a good job. does any one think they are good and what is the best skimmer for my money that is a hang on the back style since i dont have a sump. thanks

 

The best, or most affordable. Best right now I would say ATB hang on, best for the money.. different story.

The best bang for the buck, Octopus BH-800S, but the pump is to big and many people have to mod it so it does not overflow all the time...... but for a really good HOB only around $225.
Deltec MCE600 is a pretty good skimmer as well but it is round $450.

I have heard some good things about the Warner Marine H2, but never seen one in action myself about $300.

hey....the aqua-c remora is the best HOB skimmer you can buy...it is relatively inexpensive at i think 170 and it skims like no other

 

i would say the best one is a coralife 125, get a used one on ebay for less then 100 dollars

 

this is more of an in tank skimmer but its small is the tunze nano works great in my 24g aquapod tanks
