whats the best reef site to order from?

im just curious as to what companies you guys think are the best to order livestock/equipment etc. from? it can be a well known one such as saltwaterfish.com or liveaquaria.com or a one not as well known. i remember ordering my dwarf seahorses i ordered from ccritters.com and their stuff is dirt cheap and good quality too. anyone is welcome to respond! dont keep your opinions to yourselfs

 

I really like Foster and Smith Aquatics. They have pretty good prices and shipment is usually with one or two days. Last time I order something from them it was a Friday. It got to my house that Saturday with standard shipping. I was impressed. I've ordered from them multiple times.

I've never ordered livestock online ut plan to get some fish from their Divers Den section. I've heard many good things about that part too.

I also like ordering from Big Al's Online. I've only ordered from here once. But it came in good condition in a timely manner. They have the lowest prices on equipment as far as I know of.

 

foster and smith is a good site for equipment indeed, fish not so much one of my anthias a while back arrived dead and they wouldnt even back it even tho the arrive alive gaurentee

Ive ordered so much from them, and they have never not refunded any issue. Obviously theres another issue thats not being stated.

well it was the dead of winter and they said that the fine print says that they could have died once being delivered to my post office or something like that

 

Liveaquaria, and Divers Den, ship fedex overnight... Why would you ship it to your post office and not your residence?

 

ive never recieved any order to my door, i livei n breckenridge they would have to have a lifted jeep to get to my hosue. i guess ive never really thought of that ive always just ordered it then ran down to the post office the next day

 

You probably shouldn't be ordering livestock online if that is the case....sounds like it takes you awhile to bring them home? Unless you pick them up the morning after they were shipped? I'm a little confused!

 

Pet Solutions has the best prices for hardware. I ordered a light fixture that was a minimum of $150 cheaper at this site. Same name brand and all. Livestock is not bad as well although I have never ordered from them.
