Whats the best way to get rid of the anemones? I have about 4 small little spots on my live rock about the size of a dime.

I do have one furry mushroom coral in the tank I don't want to kill it..

I do have one peppermint shrimp in the tank , but it doesn't seem to come out ever when the lights are on... the tank has only been setup up for 5 days !

    tank - 29 G biocube HQI

P.S im still very new to all this !

Hey dustin, u got a pic? If its on one rock i would pull it out and bake it, freeze it then soak in muratic acid. Or just smear kalk paste on it then flush with fresh water.

Kalk and Aptasia-X have been the most successful options for me.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

Well that is one way to do it, might be over kill. Just make sure you remove all tissue and rinse well in SW before putting back in the tank.

problem is it would most likely spread it. Kalk is a uber high ph gunk that melts the tissue and kills it. think the opposite of sulfuric acid.
