    Ok i'm setting up my 150 G reef tank, i'll have a school of 7 chromis, one yellow tank, 2 picasso clown and their anemone, a mandarin later on, and i want a school if possible of 5 Anthias . o what are the easiest for that. Mainly to keep. ome are easier than others, to feed , some are easier to keep alive , some school some don't as long as they eat. My favorite in terms of coloring is the Bartlett , along with the blue-green Chromis the contrast would be phenomenal in the tank. Anyway whats your take on those guys, thanks for your input.

    So the questions are;

    Which you find the easiest species?
    How often you feed them
    Do they school or shoal?

    Hmmm i'm not a huge expert on anthias... I would choose a larger species like Squareback, dunno.

    Those fish are very easy to take care of. Feed them once a day. They eat things like spectrum and froze food. Hopefully I helped a bit!

    Anthias should eat more than once. Very active fish.

    Ventralis. Get 5 or 7. ;)

    Seriously, none are "easy" to keep. They require multiple feedings daily, of various diets to be healthy. Bartlett's are easily found. Purple Queens are gorgeous. Square Back's get BIG.

    As for easiest... probably the Square, IMO.... Of the commonly found in trade.

    Hardest... by far, the Purple Queen.... both species.

    Edit: Another easy one is the Hutchi.... not the prettiest though, and they get big.

    I have heard they are jumpers, so probably need a covered top. I run open top so have had to stay clear of them, which is a bummer becaus te are really nice looking fish

    Bartletts are considered one of the easier and Lyretail.
    Never had one .. just parroting web info.
    I love anthias.. I plan to get a few either Bartletts or Lyretail.
