Whats the fastest way to grow mangroves?

the title says most of it. which is faster for the leaves to appear, buried or hanging in the tank. light or no light on the top where the leaves appear? just wondering since i want some leaves!!!!

 

well it is actually more interesting to see the red roots come out.. so i would say hanging on top of the tank. its going to take about a month or two before you see any leaves.

 

i got some from reef cleaners that the top part is a really light green unllike most of the ones i have. they all have roots already. do you think they are close?

 

how long are the roots? some of mine are about 6 inches or so.. and i can see the leaves starting to form.

if you have roots probably a month from now.

 

darn. oh well thats ok. still wont have the leaf fish by then.
