    couldnt tell you covered the tank in a blanket and left it covered until power returned. I can tell you my house was around a warm 50-60 degrees.

    14 seconds :) That's how long it takes for the automatic switchgear to kick over to backup power.

    haha.. I always think of you when I think of power outages. I wish I had a gen like that.

    4 1/2 days without power due to an ice storm, I now have a generator just in case

    For me it was a week and a half. The only thing that I could do(at that time) was to place two batt. operated air pumps and wish for the best. Remarkably, everything made it without issues. The only thing that I couldnt control( at the time) was the Temp. It reached somewhere around 81-82.
