i had this coral for several months, i thought it died so i put it in the graveyard with the other skeletons at the bottom behind the live rock after re-scaping the rockwork. i made a rack with eggcrate and pvc tees so the rocks could flow much better and the deitris falls to the bottom where i can syphon it out weekly. my nitrates were well into the 200's, but now they are in the low 20's. since then, i noticed this coral decided to live again!!!
anybody know what kind of coral it is???

Nope if it was an sps it would have to be an encrusting one,and it would be very low to the rock.My guess is more toward an lps....i'm going to say...a fragged pagoda cup ???
