haha she's starting so young :) and i've only been fish keeping for 2 years now, bet she'll be doing it when she gets older, until she's like me and having to pay all the bills, it's worth it though, i just have to pace myself inbetween paychecks

Yep dead Phyto and and skimmate have to be 2 of the worst smells in this hobby...or even smells I know of. We had a bottles of DT's Phyto in our fridge that "expired" in February according to the bottle. We didn't even open it...and this was 3 days ago :D I'm kind of regretting not smelling it, just to see what it was like, you know? ::)

    Wow...you people are weird

The only "bad" thing that I've done for the hobby is allow my electric bills to go up :D

In my brief time.... it was just recently. Went to the LFS to get some Emerald Entre. Parked the Jeep in the garge and didn't drive it again for a couple days. The garage started reeking and didn't figure it out till I had to go somewhere. The fish food blew up and was still rotting. Took a week to ge the smell out of the Jeep and that was without the top. God it was putrid.

Well i would say its not a smell or anything to make you puke....well a bit nauseous from stress..but everytime i have had to move my fish tanks they have been full so you got to break em down move all the water and set em back up. Bad part being i always have to go up or down a flight of stairs to take em out of a house or up or down a flight of stairs to put em in a house. 5 times now..... wew!

Taking down a tank and setting another up fresh.

But that is also fun. :)

Yeah, the stray voltage I had from my mag9 was not fun either, and of course there was a little puddle of SW to stand in by the tank when the mag failed that was the return pump.

Curt! Those are unbelievable - more please!

I haven't done anything that dramatic. Except I have found out that super glue and I just don't go together. I was moving some frags aound a few days ago and was testing my super glue bottle to see if the nozzle was open. I squirted a blob on a napkin to check it and went on with my repair. A little while later, I put my cell phone down......you got it - right on the blob on the napkin. I didn't realize it until I tried to answer the cell phone. While I was trying to peel the cell phone off the napkin, I got some on my fingers and glued two of my fingers together.....

Phytoplankton and protein skimmer goo aren't that bad! You should have smelled Jwin's diapers!

 I simply cannot use super glue without getting it on my fingers. It's literally impossible for me to NOT glue my fingers together!
