    i hear that they help? i have a 2t x 3w pulsing xenia in a 20gal how would that benefit filtration

    Xenia filtration? I've never heard of such a thing. I had ONE run with xenia now I just say kill it with fire.

    I have heard of using Xenia and Sinularia as a type of nitrate exporter, I actually think it's an interesting idea. Problems might ensue when you reach the ULNS system set up though, probably more complicated by use of other means of mechanical/chemical filtration.

    Might be better to consider an ATS (algae turf scrubber).
