whats this coming out of snail?!

These guys come out from sandbed at night but noticed this crazy trail of something this guy has coming out of him!! Any ideas? ?trying to get a pic up

 

Line of small spheres all clumped together? The snail a cerith? Prolly eggs is my bet.

 

Pics still won't work.. Its squigily and clear stuck on glass snail is in a long pointy shell. Usually stays under sand..

Yeah I always leave mine. Never seen my fish eat the eggs there self. As for hatching to make new snails it's very doubtful. I've never had any make it to a point you could see them. Once they turn to larva they are ate by fish, inverts and filtered/skimmed out. I'm sure they make a healthy snack for your tank though.

 

Best scrape them off, throw them in a pan, cook lightly and add cheese and a few dashes of Red Hot.
mmmm eggs.... might as well reap the benefits of your tank
