    Hello all,

got her yesterday and promptly forget its name. seems happy where she is though. is it some sort of policipora?

also picked up this BTA, the color shocked me(i got 2 in fact one is still a little baby though.) iv read about bleaching anemones, is this a result from it? does the natural color ever come back or will it turn brown or something....

    Yes, that's a pocillipora.

There's no way of knowing what color the anemone will turn. Make sure you're target feeding it in the mean time.

When they bleach, they never 100% bleach. They always keep some back. If you keep it fed meaty foods (krill, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, etc), the zooxanthellae will reproduce. In fact, some of the prettiest bubble corals are the ones that are partially bleached. Customers come in and always want that one and I have to inform them it's not for sale yet. We need to feed it daily for a couple of weeks and it won't be hot pink or neon green anymore.

Good flow (the polyps should be constantly moving) and medium-high to high light. Low nitrates and phosphates.
