SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Alex stop telling all my secrets!! What day are you going to be free to stop taking down the 75 gallon? Got big plans this week? We need to get holes drilled, plumbing mocked up, electrical reworked, new sand and aqua-scape, getting the flow dialed in, and then getting all the fish back in. Seems like a lot to do!!! Going crazy over here waiting for this project to begin. But just like someones signature I saw today "go slow, watch it grow".

A little update on the build.

Tore the tank down and got the new one in place quite easily. This is where everything started going wrong. Got the plumbing all mocked up and tested the bulkheads and realized that the seals were on the wrong side. Then we couldnt get the bulkheads part because of a union and fitting so we had to cut everything apart and start over again. Finally got everything working right and the filling process started. Got new sand and rock in place and the livestock transfered. Everything was swimming great and looked very happy that day and night before I went to sleep. I wake up the next morning and my whole house stunk like nasty fish. I knew that something was wrong right away. My Kole Tang and Foxface were sitting in a cornner not swimming and breathing very heavly, my 6 line wrasse was laying in the sand breathing very heavy, but my trigger, shrimp, and 2 pajama cardinals were doing just fine. After talking to my friend Alex we deteremined that my sons carbon experiment had gone wrong (the night of the tear down he threw in a small chunk of sugar cookie). Had a huge bacteria bloom and started trying to ass oxygen to the system but ended up loosing the tang, foxface, and 6 line that day. Things have started turning around since then and my trigger and pjs seem to be doing quite well. All my corals are pretty much destoryed and fadded away. Ill post more pictures of my set up later tonight but here is a FTS for now. Sorry about the novel.

The rock work isnt done I still need to finish the island on the left side but dont want to add to much LR at a time. Sorry for the bad pic I promise to post some better ones later.

Time for a big picture update!! Things have been running for a week without issue and I even got a new Wrasse to replace our 6 line but he has been hiding since yesterday and did not come out at all today so I will try and snap some pictures of him tomorrow. Sorry for the bad pictures but I bought my wife this "fancy" camera for Christmas last year but comes to find out its just a over priced point and shoot camera. Going to buy her a nice one soon(will also benefit me).

Guess Ill keep updating for my own knowledge since no one seems to be following. Got a couple new fish this week a Sailfin Tang and Red Coris Wrasse. Two of my favorite fish by far. Also added another 40+ pounds of LR to the mix and everything is looking pretty good. Going to let the system level itself out for a few weeks and then im going to look at adding a pair of Black and White clowns and a sleeper head goby. That will be the extent of the fish for the most part.

Put my frogspawn, GSP, and Duncan from my 30 gallon that I tore down so I looks like its going to be turning into a Reef. Will put some more updated pictures later this weekend.

Not really to sure yet nothing real crazy. Probably a Hammer, Torch, Galaxia, lots of Zoas. Anything that has a lot of body and is fun to watch.
