    I have a few of these growing on my rocks. I tried to pull them out but they grow back after a while. What are these ?

    Thats finger algae, a macro algae tangs or emerald crab won't eat. at least I never had any animal that would eat them.

    Neomeris annulata. 99% of the time it's harmless. Most animals don't eat it because it's calcareous like Halimeda spp. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it.
