    Hello all... anyone have a clue what exactly this thing is. a sponge, bivalve :huh:... i have no clue...

    looks rather sppongy to me, solid color, and the way it forms to the rock. It's position screams sponge at me (no i dont REALLY hear voices) due to the fact it is located of the side of the rock that was most likeley not exposed to direct light,  the defined area where there is no coraline algae and the presence of the duster worms leads me to believe that.....i vote for sponge.

    Looks like a tunicate, does it have a hole in it?

    Looks like a sea squirt to me. Though I haven't seen an orange one before.

    it has 2 holes... it doesnt move. its about a 1/4 inch long ive had it for a while now and i can tell you it doesnt grow fast.
