Well my frogspawn used to be green with purple tips and now it completely turned to green with white tips, is there anything that could have caused this to happen? all my water params are fine and my lighting is Aquactincs TX5. other than that the frogspawn is doing fine except the color change.

it might be getting to much light and do you ever feed your corals with micro plankton

I would lean towards lighting as well. Possibly too much (frogspawn doesnt need much), or improper spectrum. What bulb combination and bulb temps are you running?

That's not overly much. How high is it in the tank and how long have you had it? Did it just turn colors or has been in the same spot for a while then turned colors?

its a little over halfway up in the tank, and i got it just before christmas. It's been in the same spot the whole time then it started to change colors gradually.

I messed with my FS location for about 3 weeks. This is what I have found. Put the FS down low. Mine is on the sand, with low/med flow. They don't like their arms flailing all over the place. They like some movement so they can catch food. I have 2 clamp on 150W halides w/blue antic and 14000K.

After the FS sat in it's current location for about 3 weeks it now has two heads. Same with my hammerhead coral, except I have him on a frag on the side of a rock. It now has another head coming out, possibly 2?

Oh I also found the my FS loves Mysis shrimp.

Your bulb choices are great. Yeah.....as mentioned, just mess with location and see what that does.

Bare in mind, was the change in coloration recently? when did they change color? since you had it or was it different color at the lfs? how long have you had it now?
I do agree with the above statements. but different lighting spectrum make corals behave different, what kind of lights were they kept under? and are your lights any different? distance where they was placed, or have you changed the salt brand?, specific gravity, salinity, other parameters, like Ph, Dkh, Mg, Ca? need more info!
