    I replaced the carbon with lignite from BRS. Worst case scenario, it makes the chemicals less concentrated, right?

    It will clean up. Nothing seriously toxic. Your foam head will come back.

    It's pulling some seriously dark stuff now. I did notice that my carbon reactor was tumbling a bit, so I'm thinking it may have been carbon dust. I have turned it down (it was only tumbling for ~1 hour). The foam head does seem to be returning.

    Just cleaned mine tonight for doing the same thing. I have the SCA-65 and where the air hose connects to the pump there is a hard plastic insert. It was completely clogged with salt. I pulled it all apart and cleared the clog. It is now working better than it ever has.

    I had cleaned it... I think it was the PVC cement... as I didn't change anything other than letting it run and it's pulling very well now.
