I have ich going around my tank right now, and several of the fish have visible spots, but others don't. The ones that don't rub against and whack themselves against things.

Keep water clean and feed well. Hope the fish can fight it off. You can add vitamins to the food, like VitaChem.

+1 to vitamins, Make sure the fish eat,

I tend to use Ick-Attack by Kordon, Tends to work for the most part, followed up by a mealfix treatment and then a water change by the end of the week. All coral and invert safe.

My flame wrasse got Ick and I did such and It was gone by then and Havent seen it back on her.

My only problem with getting a QT is that I don't want to stress the fish out. It is obvious that they do have ich now. There are visible spots on the tang and also on the trigger. I guess this is what I get for adding new fish after two years. Anyway, I have been switching off from pellet food and mysis shrimp both soaked in garlic guard before feeding. I have been doing this for a few days now and I will continue this and hope for the best. I will also be going to the LFS today to pick up some Vitamin C supplements to add to the soak. Any suggestions on which kind to get? It really breaks my heart to put my algae scrubber in the tank and have my tang come up to it and lay on his side as if he wants me to scratch him. I really hope my fish can get through this. I also have a clownfish but I have also had her for two years now and so far so good with her-no signs of ich. If anyone has any other suggestions I am definitely open to hearing them!

so everyone is still alive and swimming... got some vitamin c supplements i have been adding to the soak and it seems that the spots may be slowly decreasing in number? Don't know for sure, but for anyone who has gotten through an ich attack can you share with me your timeline on how long your fish took to get better?
