    My pet peeve is

    starting a manual syphon and not getting the timing right

    you either have half a dozen goes at it, for fear of a mouthfull of salt water

    or you get a mouthfull of saltwater

    I hate doing the Ca and Mg tests also....Hanna is coming out with those checkers but not soon enough for me. I think Ca is next in line.

    I also dont like feeding.....it takes too long for me!

    wc's,water on the glass and testing are a major PITA
    But my biggest pet peeve is when someone keeps thier water level below the rim of the tank,leaving a water line,and when there is no background or painting on the back and all the equipment and wires are showing,especially the heater being mounted cock-eyed across the back of the tank.:)

    Most annoying things:
    Mag Testing
    Manual Feedings - For example (Sun Coral) I hate it.
    Scrapping coraline algae off front of glass
    Monthly Canister filter cleanings

    Basically cleaning anything. Fish tank, house, car. I hate doing it, but love the way it looks afterwards.


    Pet Peeves:
    1. (VWL) - Visible Water Line
    2. Water Streaks
    3. Those that don't want to wait for a tank to cycle or use live fish to cylce quicker. Then dump in a large CUC, nine other fish, and come here because they don't understand why things aren't going well.
    4. Koralia powerheads. There too bulky for a 55 gallon tank. I can't wait to remove them from my tank, replacing them with Vortechs.
